Privacy Policy

This policy explains what NoahWorks LLC, doing business as Rent NW Motors ("we," "us"), collects when you use rentnwmotors.com or rent from us, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what's needed to rent you a car safely, we don't sell it, and we use well-known providers to handle the sensitive parts.
What we collect
- Booking details: vehicle, dates, add-ons, delivery choice, and the date of birth you enter at checkout.
- Contact and payment: your name, email, and phone, collected by Stripe's checkout page along with your card. Stripe stores the card; we receive a token that lets us place the deposit hold and any post-trip charges described in the Rental Agreement. We never see your card number.
- License verification: handled by Stripe Identity. Stripe processes the images of your license and your selfie under its own privacy policy. We receive and keep only the outcome, plus the name, date of birth, and expiration date on the license.
- Rental records: condition reports (photos, odometer, fuel, notes, your signature), messages about the rental, and any incident or citation information.
- Vehicle data: some vehicles have GPS or telematics that record location, speed, and mileage during a rental.
- Site usage: basic server logs. We don't run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To confirm, manage, and communicate about your booking (email and text).
- To verify that drivers meet our requirements and to prevent fraud.
- To document vehicle condition, resolve damage questions, and process amounts owed under the Rental Agreement.
- To comply with tax, accounting, insurance, and legal obligations, and to respond to citations or law-enforcement requests about a rental.
- To ask you for a review after your trip (you can ignore it).
We don't sell personal information and we don't share it with advertisers.
Who we share it with
- Stripe — payments, card storage, and identity verification.
- Resend — sends our transactional emails.
- Vercel and Neon — host the website and database.
- Insurers, repair shops, and government agencies — only as needed to handle a claim, a citation, or a legal requirement arising from your rental.
How long we keep it
Booking and rental records are kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting, insurance, and dispute purposes, generally 7 years. Verification results are kept with the booking record. We don't hold license images at all; Stripe's retention is described in its policy.
Your choices
Email noahworks.noah@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete your information. We'll honor reasonable requests, subject to the records we're required to keep for completed rentals. You can opt out of review requests by replying "stop."
Security
Payments and verification run through Stripe over encrypted connections. Our database is access-controlled and hosted by Neon. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site isn't directed at children, and renters must be 21 or older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
